chapter 46-bide for time
we returned to the camp, much to the relief of all.I reported back to Commander Neo and told him that I would be fit for duty within a week. Everyone was convinced that my "discussion" with Kei had convinced me to return.

Kei acted the same as usual, sullen, and distant. I went off to visit Luna and told her of our plans but she just looked at me blankly as usual, without any response. When I saw those empty eyes, I knew I had to take her along with us no matter what.

During that week, we got lucky. Neo showed us 5 prototypes of new mobile suit technology developed by the EFSF.It was created with data that was compiled by DERF SHAYA.DERF was a top engineer in ZEON that followed Komori when they defected to EFSF and he carried with him state of the art knowledge on how to programme the OS of the new mobile suits. He was currently heavily protected, with DERF being his new identity, since ZEON would seek to eliminate him if they knew he defected. He was a classified dead soldier in the ZEON database, thanks to Komori's intervention.

The new mobile suits had self recharging capabilities, utilizing elemental power from the surroundings. It had also built in power recycling capabilities, making the machine virtually invincible in its usage. It could still overheat, but no longer would we need to waste time recalling our manpower to the mothership to recharge during battle.currently, the prototypes were being tested and NEO had designated one to me and one to Kei.Kei's was called Wolfsbane and mine was called Celeste.

This was perfect. With the new mobile suits all we needed to worry about was how to steal the POD technology away from the medical facility, while incurring the least casualties possible when we had to fight our way thru
